Approach to College Counseling
With our background in teaching and instruction, we believe that the proper role of a consultant is to “guide from the side” rather than to preach as the “sage on the stage.” We provide the tools and guidance for students to make their own decisions about what is important to them as they explore their options and navigate the admissions process. We don’t have right answers. We don’t have a list of the “right” colleges. Rather, we help students discover the educational alternatives that are right for them. Then we give them the tools plot their course to help and arrive at their chosen educational destination.
