The Carnival of Homeschooling is a great game this week, with tons of interesting posts. It is hosted by Why Homeschool, and the folks there make great referees.

Some of my favorite posts for the week include:

      • A post by Eat Your History recounting the author’s travails in getting her homeschooled son into universities. It highlights the fact that colleges and universities are still adjusting to the fact that more and more families are choosing an alternative educational path for their children, and that the admissions offices have to learn to implement unfamiliar rules.
      • A post by Matthew K. Tabor, who offers tips on how homeschoolers can prepare for college applications. Very sound advice by an excellent blogger.

So check out the Carnival. Good stuff abounds.
