Our son is about to graduate in this TERRIBLE economy, where his high school friends have either no job prospects or realized they might as well just go to grad school now because of no job prospects. He received THREE solid job offers right here in San Diego. So, is he glad he went to Mudd and worked his tail off? You bet! And we as parents are no longer wondering if we were crazy to pay the big bucks for private schools when he had a free ride at Berkeley & USCD. Completely agree with your assessment.
