With over 20 years of experience as a high school college counselor, Jeanette has guided hundreds of students through the college admissions process. She understands the challenges and uncertainties that students and their families face when exploring college options. Jeanette takes a collaborative and personalized approach, helping families navigate testing requirements, reduce stress, and find the best-fit schools. She regularly visits college campuses to gain firsthand insights into their environments, allowing her to offer informed guidance. Having experienced the process both professionally and as a parent, she understands the emotions involved and is dedicated to making the journey as smooth as possible.

Jeanette believes that every student should have options and opportunities to find colleges where they will thrive—schools that not only fit their academic and personal needs but also value them in return. She meets students and families where they are, tailoring her approach to their unique goals and aspirations. Her expertise has helped students gain admission to top-tier institutions, including Cornell, Georgetown, Boston College, UNC-Chapel Hill, Duke, UVA, Vanderbilt, and many more. Additionally, she has extensive experience with the NCAA recruitment process and has successfully guided numerous student-athletes who now compete at the Division I level.

Personal

Jeanette lives in Holly Springs, North Carolina, with her husband, her son—a student and Division I swimmer at the College of William & Mary—her daughter, a high school junior and competitive swimmer, and their lively Labrador mix, Charlie. She spends much of her free time at swim meets, enjoys working out, reading, and relaxing on North Carolina’s beautiful beaches. She also has a talent for baking and is known for her delicious homemade biscotti!
