Pam Gentry is an experienced college admissions consultant with more than 20 years of experience in K–12 education and a deep background in educational psychology and gifted education. She works closely with high school students and their families to guide them through every stage of the college preparation, selection, and application process, helping students identify best-fit colleges and present authentic, compelling applications. In addition, Pam works closely with US students seeking to attend both US-based and international universities and also provides college counseling to international students from Europe, Asia and Latin America.
Before becoming a college admissions consultant, Pam spent over a decade teaching secondary mathematics and 10 years as a gifted education specialist in public schools. In these roles, she partnered with students, parents, teachers, and administrators to support academic growth, social-emotional development, and long-term success. This experience allows her to work especially effectively with high-achieving, ambitious, and gifted students. Earlier in her career, Pam also worked in the aerospace industry in data management, where she developed a meticulous, systems-based approach that now informs her attention to detail in college application strategy, deadlines, and institutional requirements.
Counseling Approach
Pam’s consulting process is holistic and highly personalized. She considers each student’s academic profile, interests, personality, values, and learning style while building strategic college lists, guiding course planning and extracurricular involvement, and coaching students through essays, interviews, waitlists, and final decisions. Pam regularly visits colleges across the United States, Canada, and the UK/Ireland and places strong emphasis on campus culture and fit.

Pam lives in Broomfield, Colorado, between Denver and Boulder, and enjoys skiing, hiking, theater, reading, and travel with her husband and two children.
