Every time I tell people in a presentation that only about a quarter of Americans have a college degree, I hear gasps of surprise.
But it’s true. Only 27.5% of Americans today have a Bachelor’s degree. The Chronicle of Higher Education has a fun interactive map on its website where you can see by county the exact percentage of people with college diplomas.
