DePaul is the largest Catholic university in the U.S., with 16,000 undergrads and 25,000 total students. The university’s main focus is teaching (as opposed to research), so despite its large size, classes are small: the largest classes have 40-45 students, with the average class size being 23 students. DePaul is located in the city of Chicago, with easy access to all the wonderful sports, museums, cultural attractions, and events that the city has to offer.
