As an update to yesterday’s article in the New York Times about enrollment and yield trends this year at the most selective colleges, Scott Jaschick of Inside Higher Ed points out that with the great variety of higher education institutions in the US, no single “trend” can or will emerge. As he says, it’s all about the money.
