]]> Today I’m on the campus of Tulane University, and I visited Loyola University New Orleans yesterday. Both these universities were in the local news because of big increases in interest in applying to these school.

New Orleans area colleges in high demand; Tulane seeing record number of applicants.

I want to find out why Tulane says that it has received 40,000 applications…which is 11,000 more than Harvard received.  I’m a bit suspicious.
