The Universal College Application is gaining some traction. The rival to the Common Application, the Universal Common Application has 11 more universities that are part of its network.
Those colleges are:
Assumption College
Bradley University
Gonzaga University
Harcum College
Hobart and William Smith Colleges
Hood College
University of Miami (FL)
University of Pennsylvania
University of Rochester
Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology
Westminster College (MO)
It’s interesting to watch these organizations (which includes College Zapps, a private-sector initiative) vie for the market in college applications. It will be interesting to see how this all shakes out. Will the move be toward greater standardization in the industry? Or will complete differentiation win out?
Too soon to tell. Stay tuned.
