Peter Schwartz from the Huffington Post has writen a funny, yet sorta sad piece about how he has been fretting about his son’s college applications. The funny part is that he writes with just the right amount of self-mockery to help the reader undertand he is embarrassed that he is such a helicoper parent. But he is a helicopter parent. He talks about how “we” applied to Yale, when actually it was (or should have been) his son who did the applying.
I hope Peter won’t need heavy duty psychotherapy if his son is not accepted to his first choice colleges.
