The University of California system is facing budget woes.  The Trustees of the system are considering all sorts of options to make up for budget shortfalls.   One idea is to cap enrollments to keep costs down.

Another idea is to boost revenue by adding more international and out-of-state students.

Here’s an article on the subject from the Los Angeles Times:  UC officials debate accepting more non-Californians to boost revenue – Los Angeles Times.

Anyone care to lay bets as to which option the Trustees will pursue?
