Monique Spittler is the executive assistant to the college counseling professionals at Great College Advice®. She is a versatile assistant who goes above and beyond administrative support. She attended the Community College of Denver, where she studied Creative Writing and ultimately had her work published. Monique is a resourceful learner and has creative problem-solving skills. She is passionate about helping people and finding the best solutions for them. As an assistant, Monique focuses on streamlining administrative functions to ensure a smooth working experience for our clients.
A Creative Problem Solver
Monique’s creativity has been a defining trait since her youth, having started creating art at the age of 10. Over the years, she has honed her skills and developed a unique style that is both playful and thought-provoking. Her creativity has also extended beyond the visual arts into the literary world. Monique has had several poems and pieces of prose published, as well as a children’s book that she illustrated herself. She continues to explore different creative mediums and enjoys expressing herself through various forms of art.
A Connector and Collaborator
Monique’s ability to connect with people from all backgrounds and walks of life is one of her greatest strengths. Her natural talent for building connections with others and helping them feel seen has led her to volunteer in many different capacities, including working with at-risk youth at local schools and spending two years teaching preschoolers. Her years of volunteer work have helped her further develop strong communication and interpersonal skills that she now brings to her role as an assistant. Whether it’s connecting with clients, collaborating with colleagues, or finding ways to support those around her, Monique is always looking for ways to build positive relationships.
Personal
Monique, a Denver native and resident, enjoys a variety of hobbies in her free time. In the summertime, she loves to get out on the water and go paddleboarding, as well as explore the beautiful hiking trails in the area. When she can’t partake in outside activities, Monique pursues creative endeavors by spending her free time exploring new art forms. Whether she’s working on a new painting or experimenting with a new medium, Monique’s artistic and creative spirit is always at the forefront of her activities.
