The University of Colorado Boulder (also known as “CU”) has an honors program for students studying engineering. This program provides unique opportunities for engineering students to live together and to engage in projects that extend their learning beyond the classroom.

Application Information
Acceptance to EHP is highly competitive. We typically receive over 200-400 applications for around 80 first-year spots. Application to EHP is a separate, voluntary process from applying to the College of Engineering and Applied Science (it is also separate from applying for RAPs through the housing application). You must apply to both the Engineering College and EHP.
Researching our program, visiting EHP, and reading our above letter to prospective students will help you to better understand the kind of students we are seeking to be a part of our community.
Also, please make sure you are able to meet the program requirements, including residence in Williams Village North Hall for your first year of college and enrollment in Critical Encounters I in the fall.
Please Note: The Engineering Honors Program has its own review and selection process completely separate from the Admissions process to CU Boulder and the College of Engineering and Applied Science. Although many of you have already been accepted to CU Boulder Engineering, you are encouraged to apply for EHP before you hear back from Admissions. To be accepted into our program, though, requires you also to be accepted into the CU Boulder College of Engineering and Applied Science.
